METANOIA MODEL™

The Metanoia Model™ is a proprietary process designed specifically for group or community coaching.

The goal of the coaching exchange is to support each group in identifying and making progress toward implementing a policy, system, or environmental change within their organization or system as a tool to transform culture.

Most of the coaching industry focuses resources on individuals at executive level positions as a strategy for impact. At Metanoia, we prioritize coaching collective groups towards a common goal.

THREADS OF TRANSFORMATION

The Metanoia Model™ was originally deployed in 2017 in response to the opioid crisis. Community champions across the San Luis Valley gathered in a gymnasium in rural Colorado to build collective solutions to address their local priorities.

Since 2017, the model has evolved across public health topics, such as mental health, youth cannabis use, hurricane response, COVID-19, 2SLGBTQIA+ advocacy, suicide prevention, leadership development, burnout prevention and succession planning.

 THE THREAD THAT CONNECTS

Power of connection is truly remarkable.

When we are connected, we move deeper into the present, take action, and craft collective results which shape our future.

Exploring our differences makes us part of something greater than ourselves.

By seeking out the humanity in ourselves and others, we can achieve inspiring transformation.

Metanoia, a call to action.

  • Use real-life circumstances encountered as a means to advance growth.

HOW CAN I GET THE MOST OUT OF COACHING?

  • View your coach as a partner in your growth, learning and development.

    • Clarify the agenda for each session
    • Be honest with yourself, your coach, your community
    • Be clear about what you want
    • Follow through on your defined actions
    • Reflect on your experience and discuss changes needed with your coach

WHAT CAN I EXPECT OF MY COACH?

  • Your coach has specific training in the International Coach Federation (ICF) Core Competencies and will abide by the ICF Code of Ethics.

    • Ask questions to express awareness of your situation and guide your exploration
    • Listen with an open heart
    • Collaborate with you on creating an action plan

WHAT IS MY ROLE?

  • You will set the agenda for each of your coaching conversations. The agenda should link to your growth plan.

    • Assume responsibility for your development
    • Experiment with new ways of doing things
    • Keep your coaching appointments & be prepared with an agenda
